Copper has natural antimicrobial properties, and has been used to help mitigate iron ochre. Copper wiring had previously been used by our corporate office, but it's lack of surface area and contact with piping made it less effective. This sleeve can slide over 3" or 4" pipe, allowing full contact, and can be easily cut with ordinary scissors.

If you know your job has iron ochre, slide this over pipe, stuff some in your weep holes, or even wrap it around your crock. 100% USA mined copper.
